佢 係 一 位 勇士 ， 佢 想 同 皇帝 爭 做 天神 。

不過 皇帝 嘅 武功 實在 太 好 ， 一 刀 就 斬 斷 咗 佢 個 頭 ， 再 將 佢 葬 咗 喺 一 個 叫 「 常羊山 」 嘅 地方 。

But the emperor's kung fu was so good that he cut off his head with a single stroke and buried him in a place called "Chang Yang Shan".
不過 呢 位 勇士 冇 死 到 ， 而且 佢 唔 死心 。

過 咗 一陣 ， 佢 嘅 心口 生 咗 一 對 眼 ， 肚臍 上面 生 咗 一 個 鼻哥 ， 肚臍 嗰度 生 咗 一 個 嘴 。

After a while, a pair of eyes appeared on his chest, a nose on top of his belly button, and a mouth at his belly button.
之後 佢 個 名 就 叫做 「 形天 」 。

二 ， 夸父

2. Kuafu
夸父 係 一 個 巨人 ， 佢 跑步 跑 得 好 快 ， 呢個 世界 冇 人 跑 得 快 過 佢 。

Kuafu is a giant who runs very fast; no one in this world can run faster than him.
但 天上面 跑 得 最 快 嘅 係 太陽 ， 於是 佢 就 諗 住 同 太陽 賽跑 。

But the fastest in the sky is the sun, so he thought about racing against the sun.
由 太陽 升起 開始 ， 佢 就 不停 追 住 太陽 嚟 跑 。
From the moment the sun rises, it continuously chases after the sun.
佢 不停 跑 ， 跑 到 太陽 去到 佢 頭頂 。

佢 跑 咗 好 耐 ， 好 口渴 ， 所以 頂唔順 要 停低 一陣 ， 去 湖邊 飲 水 。

飲 完 繼續 跑 。
佢 不停 跑 不停 跑 ， 跑 到 太陽 就嚟 要 落 山 。
He kept running and running, running until the sun was about to set.
佢 又 好 口渴 ， 但係 最近 嘅 河流 要 向 北 行 二百 公里 先 有 。

於是 佢 轉 向 北方 跑 ， 但係 跑 到 一半 就 渴 死 咗 。

最後 佢 嘅 身體 變成 一 個 樹林 ， 呢個 樹林 差唔多 有 幾千 公里 咁 長 。

三 ， 燭龍

喺 呢個 世界 最 西北 嘅 地方 ， 有 一 座 山 叫 「 鍾山 」 ， 鍾山 住 咗 一 個 叫 「 燭龍 」 嘅 神仙 。

In the northwesternmost part of this world, there is a mountain called 'Bell Mountain', where a deity called 'Candle Dragon' resides.
佢 嘅 外形 好 特別 ， 有 蛇 嘅 身體 ， 但 頭 係 人頭 。

Its appearance is quite special, with a body of a snake but a head of a human.
佢 嘅 蛇身 有 幾千 公里 咁 長 ， 長 到 可以 捲 住 座 山 幾 次 。

佢 擘大 對 眼 就 係 日頭 ， 合埋 對 眼 就 係 夜晚 ； 吹 一 啖 氣 就 係 春天 夏天 ， 吸 一 啖 氣 就 係 秋天 冬天 。

When it opens its eyes wide, it is daytime; when it closes its eyes, it is nighttime; blowing a breath signifies spring and summer, while inhaling a breath signifies autumn and winter.
因為 佢 係 神仙 ， 所以 佢 唔使 呼吸 、 唔使 飲水 、 唔使 食飯 、 唔使 瞓覺 。

四 ， 蠱雕

鹿吳山 上面 冇 花草 樹木 ， 但係 山腳 有 一 條 河流 ， 入面 住 咗 一 隻 怪獸 ， 佢 個 樣 好似 雕 ， 而且 有 角 。

Deer Wu Mountain has no flowers, grass, or trees on top, but at the foot of the mountain, there is a river where a monster lives. It looks like an eagle and has horns.
佢 嘅 叫聲 好似 人類 嘅 BB ， 而且 仲 會 食 人 。
Its cry sounds like a human baby, and it also eats people.
五 ， 夔

東海 入面 住 咗 一 隻 怪物 ， 佢 個 樣 好似 一 隻 牛 ， 但係 冇 角 ， 而且 全身 黑鼆鼆 ， 仲要 得 一 隻 腳 。

In the East China Sea, there lives a monster that looks like a cow, but it has no horns, and its body is completely black and shiny, with only one leg.
當 佢 由 水底 浮 出 水面 ， 或者 由 水面 潛入 水底 嘅 時候 ， 一定 會 橫風橫雨 。

六 ， 陵魚

陵魚 有 人頭 ， 手手腳腳 同 人 一樣 ， 只係 個 身 係 魚身 ， 平時 住 喺 海 入面 。

Lingyu has a human head, arms and legs just like a human, but its body is fish-like. Usually, it lives in the sea.
另外 傳說 話 佢哋 好 鍾意 喊 ， 流出 嘅 眼淚 仲 會 變成 珍珠 。

七 ， 囂

囂 嘅 身型 同 夸父 一樣 巨型 ， 佢 有 四 隻 翼 、 一 對 眼 ， 仲 有 條 狗仔 尾巴 。

佢 嘅 叫聲 同 雀仔 好似 ， 食 咗 佢 嘅 肉 可以 醫 肚痛 ， 仲 可以 止瀉 。

八 ， 相繇

相繇 有 九 個 頭 ， 一 個 蛇身 ， 蛇身 捲 埋 一齊 。

佢 好 貪心 ， 霸 住 九 座 山 周圍 揾 嘢食 。

It is very greedy, occupying nine mountains and looking for food around.
但凡 佢 停留 過 嘅 地方 ， 通通 都 會 變成 沼澤 ， 空氣 中 嘅 味道 又 辣 又 苦 —— 唔好 話 人 ， 連 野獸 都 住 唔 到 。
